Professional Development and Instructional Support

The Professional Development and Instructional Support Team will ensure program excellence and student success by providing the field with well-prepared instructional staff. These staff will be trained in research and evidence-based methodologies, as well as in the learning philosophies and frameworks which support them. To accomplish this purpose, our team will concentrate in the upcoming year on the following tasks:

1. analyze current PD offerings and provide those which are the most strategic for achieving student outcomes,
2. analyze instructional support models and provide one which links to programmatic initiatives and program data,
3. provide a core selection of trainings (both face-to-face and utilizing distance learning).
