North Carolina Community College Literacy Resource Center produces publications of topical interest to basic skills / literacy providers in North Carolina.  These are distributed in hard copy and are available online in PDF (portable document format).

Literacy in North Carolina, 1998 edition

Literacy in North Carolina contains statistical information and literacy data for each county in North Carolina.  Information in Literacy in North Carolina is the most current adult literacy statistics available.

  Bibliographies

North Carolina Community College Literacy Resource Center prepares annotated bibliographies of library resources on selected basic skills topics.  Entries include bibliographic information, catalog references, and annotations to help patrons determine whether a particular item is of interest.  Patrons are welcome to print individual bibliographies and to request any materials listed.

Using Technology with Adults in Basic Skills
