Vice President: Jennifer Haygood
The Division of Business and Finance facilitates the procurement of state financial resources and the equitable distribution of state funds. This is accomplished through the reporting of all revenues and expenditures, the establishment of special and capital projects, and the distribution of budget and policy information and subsequent consultations within both the System Office and to the 58 community colleges. The Division also provides fiscal reports and budget information to numerous federal, state and local government entities.
The organization is comprised of three major areas.
College Budget and Accounting manages the financial operations of the system and offers technical assistance to the colleges. This area includes Systems Accounting/Special Projects, Budgeting & Accounting/State-Level Accounting, and State-Aid Auditing & Accounting.
Administrative and Facility Services coordinates the acquisition and disposition of property and equipment with the colleges and the system office and supplies auxiliary services to the other divisions of the system office. As good stewards of the state’s financial resources, both sections strive to pursue legitimate and sound business practices at the colleges and at the system office.
