Workforce Continuing Education
NCCCS Agency Collaborations
A significant number of occupations in North Carolina require licensure and/or certification as a prerequisite to employment. Licensure/certification is granted by an independent agency or board, not the community college. For many of these occupations the educational requirement consists of short term courses. The links below take you to the governing agency of the credential. To find out if a college near you offers the necessary courses in your area of interest visit the college website.
