Telephonic State Board of Community Colleges meeting to focus on Blue Ridge Community College
RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will conduct its December meeting via a telephone conference call on Friday, December 15 at 9:00 a.m., originating from the Caswell Building. The agenda is a short one. The Board does not usually meet in December.
The main purpose of this meeting is to receive and discuss an internal report regarding issues at Blue Ridge Community College that were raised by the State Auditor in January of this year. Since that Audit Report, a Joint Committee comprised of State Board members and Blue Ridge Community College Trustees was formed to address the concerns but was disbanded without reaching a consensus.
The meeting will be conducted in open session. Only State Board members may participate telephonically; all others must attend in person at the Caswell Building.
