2.  What do I need to know when filing a Level III ISA program of study in IIPS?

When building a Level III ISA POS please remember:
  1. Use IIPS menu #5 to build a Level III ISA (collaborative) POS.
  2. Add the host college's three digit code in the appropriate field (see attachment)
  3. Add the email address(es) of staff at the host colleges (so that they can be notified via auto email that the POS has been submitted and need to be host approved)
  4. Submit the POS in the 'INCOMPLETE status. This is normal because a Level III ISA POS contains only a subset of courses  (no more than 75%) that will be offered by the participating college (therefore this is a partial POS).
  5. Be advised that:
    • First the host college will approve the POS.  The status will change to HOST-APPROVED.
    • Then the program coordinator at the System Office will approve the POS, the status will change to APPROVED.

When to update the Level III ISA POS?

Here are a few of the reasons to update/rollover a Level III ISA POS:

  1. When there is a newer version of course listed on the POS.
  2. When the host and participating colleges remove/add courses that are listed on the agreement.
  3. When curriculum standard has been revised.
