 4.  What must my community college do to gain approval to offer DEVELOPMENTAL courses?

All community colleges are automatically approved to offer all curriculum developmental courses, therefore there is no reason to add them to your IIPS program of study. (See the exception to this rule below:

The above answer does NOT apply to developmental courses which are taught in a captive setting. Before developmental courses can be taught in a captive setting , colleges must receive State Board approval.
