How to use the spreadsheet when building sections         
Community college staff must build sections only on those courses that the college is approved to offer. To gain approval to offer a course, the course must be listed on an approved IIPS program of study. 

Section builders should:
1.  Ensure that sections are built on the most current version that the college is approved to offer.
2.  Obtain the course's effective term .
3.  Use the spreadsheet to find the course's corresponding S number.
4.  When building sections in Colleague, from the course resolution screen, use the S number to select the correct version of the course.
