What are the steps involved in assigning  and receiving "O" status?

  

1.

System Office staff will run a process to change a group of selected courses' status to "O".  This process will upload the courses to each community college's queue to await download.
 

 

2.

System Office staff will send an email to the CC CIS CU PROGRAMS list about the courses and will attach a list of the courses that was given "O" status. 
 

 

3.

Community College staff will run XUIC to download the courses. 
      Note:  Remember to run XUIC after as soon a possible after courses are sent, because courses accumulates in your college's queue.
 

  4. College staff should verify they the download was successful and that they received "O" status.

A quick and reliable way for Community College staff to verify that they received "O" status on the courses is to run a query which displays the current status and current status date of either all curriculum courses in their local library, or just the courses with "O" status.
