Welcome to the User Support Team's training site!

Our team provides College Information System (CIS) training and support leveraging virtual tools which support your college. Our Virtual First Training and Support services include live, online, instructor-led training and support provided via online collaborative training tools (Skype for Business and Blackboard Collaborate) allowing for our support staff to work directly with College staff at their work space.

This virtual first training model allows us to reach more trainees in more places without additional budget.  We can reach colleges at a greater distance, with greater frequency, and at a lower cost.  All the conveniences of learning without leaving your desk!

Skype for Business and Blackboard Collaborate allow for a full audio/video and desktop sharing and web conferencing experience that provides a fully interactive support and training experience. 

Seated classroom training will be facilitated for specific scenarios where the ability to leverage virtual collaborative solutions does not exist.

College Staff Training

College Training Center Information

The NC community colleges listed have training facilities that may be used for classroom training or information sessions.  College Training Centers (CTC) provide the User Support Team Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) with regional training locations. At this time, the System Office has contractual agreements with the following community colleges to provide CTC services:

Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College

Wayne Community College

Mitchell Community College
