COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM CONFERENCE IN GREENSBORO
October 10-12, 2004
Some 2500-3000 community college faculty and staff of North Carolina's community colleges, the largest gathering of community personnel in four years, are expected to gather at the Joseph S. Koury Center in Greensboro on October 10-12 for the North Carolina Community College System Conference.

Sunday's activities at the conference include
· Cam Marston, Charlotte-based author and speaker on multigenerational relationships. General Session A, Keynote Address, "Four Generations in the Workplace," 4 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2004
· H. Martin Lancaster, president, North Carolina Community College System, General Session B, Keynote Address, "From Tractor Tires to Benzene Rings: Re-inventing the Wheel of North Carolina's Economy," 7 p.m. Sunday October 10, 2004
· "Cracker Barrel" Meeting for Distance Learning Coordinators, Paula Berardinelli and Jalaine Gross, North Carolina Community College System Office, Raleigh, 2-3:15 p.m. Sunday October 10, 2004. This session is for Distance Learning Coordinators and those who understand the complexities of teaching and learning at a distance. The "Cracker Barrel" format includes four mini-sessions on emerging distance learning topics.
Workshops begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, October 10 and continue through noon Tuesday, October 12. NOTE: All workshops are available for media coverage. A full conference agenda is available on the web at http://www.nccommunitycolleges.edu/Programs/community_college_conference.htm
