Personnel issues on the agenda for State Board of Community Colleges

RALEIGH - Personnel and budget issues necessitate an uncustomary June meeting for the State Board of Community Colleges. The meeting will originate from the Board Room in the Caswell Building in Raleigh.

The Board will be asked to approve Dr. Larry Keen as the next president of Fayetteville Community College. Keen is the vice president for Economic and Workforce Development at the North Carolina Community College System. The current president, Dr. Larry Norris, retires on August 1.

The Board will also receive an update on several other presidential searches now underway.
