BUDGET BRIEFING FOR STATE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGES
RALEIGH:
After the release of Governor Easley’s positive budget recommendations for the North Carolina Community College System last week, the next step for the State Board of Community Colleges is to promote positive results in the General Assembly. The Board will work on a plan of action as part of a Budget Briefing during an Issues Session on Thursday, May 20 in the Caswell Building.
System President H. Martin Lancaster and System Vice President for Business and Finance Kennon Briggs will present a review of the Governor’s budget recommendations and lead a strategy session for building on those items.
The Issues Luncheon kicks off two days of meetings for the State Board. The full agenda follows.
