COMMUNITY COLLEGE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETS TO CONSIDER TIMELY BUDGET ITEMS
RALEIGH: North Carolina’s budget was enacted on June 30 and the state’s community colleges are anxious to get their finances in order. The institutions need to implement salary increases, negotiate faculty contracts, and handle other time-sensitive financial issues. The full State Board meets later than usual this month, on July 27 and 28, so the Finance and Capital Needs Committee of the State Board of Community Colleges will hold a special called meeting to deal with these issues in a timely fashion.
The committee will meet at the Caswell Building in the Fifth Floor Conference Room on Monday, July 17 at 10:00 AM. The full agenda for the called meeting follows.
