On Tuesday in the North Lobby, Carteret Community College demonstrates several programs taught at the college: Paralegal Technology, Aquaculture, and Photography Technology. Instructors and students will be on hand to answer questions about the programs.
Also on Tuesday, Carteret will demonstrate Marine Propulsion in the Children’s Garden on the corner of Wilmington and Lane Streets. The college will conduct computer diagnostics on the engine of a motorboat.
On Wednesday in the North Lobby, Fayetteville Technical Community College demonstrates the Early Childhood and Teacher Education programs and how they serve the "No Child Left Behind Act" and help to educate future public school teachers.
Carteret CC President Joseph Barwick and Fayetteville Technical CC President Larry Norris will be on hand for their respective demonstrations.
These demonstrations are sponsored by the NC Community College Faculty Association. They are designed to demonstrate the diverse programs the System has which train North Carolina’s workforce and prepare them for well-paying jobs and fulfilling careers.
