Trip Bliley
"Coming to BCCC to study nursing was probably the best career move I ever made," says Trip Bliley.
At 51 years old, Trip Bliley of Washington spent over 20 years working in sales. Five years ago, Bliley decided to make a career change and chose BCCC for his studies.
As both the husband and brother of nurses, Bliley had first-hand exposure to the profession. This family connection and an interest in medicine and knowledge of the profession led him to nursing as a career.
"I chose to be a nurse because you can truly make a difference in people's lives every day," he said.
Bliley earned an associate's degree nursing from BCCC in 2004 and today works as a behavioral health nurse at Beaufort County Hospital.
