Rebecca Clark
My family and I had just moved to North Carolina from Canada and a family friend told us about CCC. I was just finishing up high school when we moved so I dual enrolled at CCC and home schooled for the remainder of my high school education.
Following high school graduation I just continued on to get my A.A. degree. CCC was financially accessible, which was a huge factor in attending since I never really thought I would have the opportunity to go to college. It was never expected of me and I didn't think the chance would come my way. CCC made that possible! I went from not knowing if I would go to college, to earning my A.A. degree, going on to get my Bachelor's degree, and planning for my Master's. CCC has helped me realize what I am capable of and given me a springboard to achieve my dreams. It opened up a whole new world of educational achievements.
The faculty and staff at CCC have gone above and beyond being helpful. Not only did they give me a quality education, but they served as a source of encouragement and inspiration. They pushed me on to the next level in my education and gave me the motivation to pursue bigger dreams.
Since earning my Bachelor's degree in May from Gardner-Webb University, I have landed a job at The Shelby Star as a reporter and eventually want to earn my Master's degree and continue working in the communication's field.
