Crystal Walker
Crystal Walker drifted through a series of different part-time jobs before she decided to take a chance on an area she found fascinating – the field of emergency medical services. She had to continue to work as she went to school but with the support of her instructors at Wayne Community College, she persevered and has found a career she loves. "Our paramedic instructor not only inspired me to gain knowledge but encouraged me to not give up when class seemed to get tough."
"Attending Wayne Community College allowed me to develop my interest into a career that I thoroughly enjoy and can support my family with," she says. "Attending Wayne Community College allowed me to show my children that you are never too old or too busy to go back to school and start a good career," Crystal says.
