Meredith Burris
Meredith Burris knew instinctively that she wanted to teach children from the moment she started baby-sitting. Graduating with honors in the Early Childhood Associate Degree program, it didn't take long for her to find employment. Meredith works for Union County Public Schools as an Instructional Assistant. “I assist the teachers in getting their materials ready for the children, so the teacher is able to teach,” comments Meredith. “I love what I do! Seeing the children learn is the most rewarding part of my job.”
Meredith encourages those who want to get their degree to stay strong even when it seems like everything is piling up around you. “You can do anything if you just stay strong and work hard.”
