Josie Medrano
When Josie Medrano made the decision to attend Blue Ridge Community College in 2006, she knew she wanted to study Business Administration Program but wasn't sure how to navigate through the college experience. With the assistance of caring and helpful faculty, Josie not only navigated through the process, but she received the James G. Finch Rotary Scholarship Award at her graduation in 2009. This prestigious award recognized Josie, not only for her strong academic performance, but for her service to the College and the community through student activities and club involvement.
Josie says her experience at Blue Ridge allowed her to form relationships with others that have strengthened her chances of success and inspired her to reach for goals she had not originally considered. She plans to pursue her bachelor's degree in the near future.
