Minimum Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Chemistry with 18 graduate-level hours from a regionally accredited institution is required. Teaching experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with computer software is required. Applicant must be a self-starter, a team player, and possess the ability to work well with others. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is desired.  

Preferred Qualifications

Position Description

Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the subject area. Applicants must be able to teach day and evening classes, which may include classes offered at our main campus and off-site. Instructors may be required to teach the following type of courses traditional methods (seated), online, and hybrid. The instructor will deliver lectures on the subject matter, creating and grading quizzes and exams, and conducting laboratory exercises. The candidate must complete the mandatory SafeColleges training within 30 days of hire and annual refresher training thereafter.
