Adjunct Clinical Nursing

 

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Active RN license in good standing
• CPR Certification
• Must be able to supervise and perform clinical duties

Qualifications Preferred:
 

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Two years minimum experience in clinical patient care; Precepting or teaching experience within a clinical setting

Under the supervision of the Nursing Department Head, the instructor plans and implements educational activities to ensure that student learning outcomes are consistent with program learning outcomes and the mission of the College.  The instructor participates in ongoing professional development and campus activities and fulfills committee and quality enhancement responsibilities.  The instructor ensures continuous improvement of instruction by means of ongoing program assessment.
