Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Current Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification as a Dental Assistant II with experience in fourhanded dentistry.
- Must have proof of instruction in educational theory and methodology principles from a recognized provider or accredited institution.
- Five calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Assistant II.

Position Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Adjunct Dental Assisting Instructor is a part – time position serving as an adjunct teaching faculty member responsible for instructing students on-campus, in clinical sites, and through other delivery methodologies in accordance with College policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Participates in clinical advising of dental assisting students
- Participates in development, implementation, evaluation and revision of curriculum as indicated.
- Maintain professional competence and environment.
- Participate in professional development activities is required.
- Work cooperatively with peers while supporting the mission and vision of the College
- Adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the College dental assisting program
