Position Description
Adjunct Faculty, Esthetics Technology positions are available to teach in the Esthetics Technology program. Courses are held during the daytime hours typically. This position reports directly to the Division Chair, Salon & Spa Services.
Position Qualifications
Required:
Certificate in Esthetics
Current Esthetics Instructor License through NC Board of Cosmetology
Current Esthetics License through NC Board of Cosmetology
Minimum of two of employment in Esthetics or related field
Creativity and openness to change
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills and commitment to the use of technology in instruction
Ability to work effectively and collegially with others in a team environment
Familiarity with and appreciation for the mission of a comprehensive community college
Effectiveness in the following College organizational competencies:

Preferred:
Associate’s degree in Cosmetology or related field
Teaching experience in Cosmetic Arts in a community college setting
