Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, current and unencumbered NC Respiratory Care license, and current BLS certification (ACLS,PALS, and NRP expected based on subject area).
Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor or Masters degree is preferred,
Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience, Two (2) years academic or clinical teaching experience. |
Position Description
Adjunct Instructor will be teaching and observing patient assessment skills, oxygen therapy, all treatment modalities, airway and ventilator management.
Job Duties include:
1. Teach classes on the subject matter assigned and per qualifications.
2. Have and maintain extensive knowledge of laboratory goals and objectives of the program.
3. Assign and supervise students in correct performance of patient assessment and therapies in the clinical setting.
4. Evaluate the student on each laboratory session for psychomotor, affective and cognitive skill.
5. Participate in student evaluations mid-term and end of semester
6. Keep up to date with inter-rater reliability training and yearly competencies at clinical affiliate as assigned.
