Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in higher education administration, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in enrollment services, student success, or a related area within higher education.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing strategies that improve student retention, completion, and post-completion outcomes.
- Experience with budget development, resource allocation, and fiscal oversight.
- Proven ability to use data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in higher education leadership, community college leadership, organizational leadership, or a closely related field strongly preferred.
- Experience in a comprehensive community college setting.
- Advanced training or certification in enrollment management, student success strategies, change management, and the use of enterprise student success technologies.
Position Description
The Associate Vice President (AVP) for Enrollment Services reports to the Vice President of Student Success Services and provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and data-driven direction for student success initiatives. This role is responsible for advancing student outcomes by integrating analytics, fiscal stewardship, and innovative technology solutions, including enterprise student success platforms and CRM systems.
The AVP for Enrollment Services works collaboratively across student success departments to design, implement, and scale systems, processes, and interventions that improve student retention, completion, and post-graduation success—aligning with the institution’s strategic plan and student success agenda.
