Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of law enforcement experience.
- Current General and High Liability instructor’s certifications (i.e., Firearms, Driver Instructor, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Flexibility of working hours to include day and evening classes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or higher degree in Criminal Justice or related field from an accredited college/university.
- Work experience as an instructor and QA in a N.C. Community College BLET program
- Current sworn law enforcement officer
