Position Description

Do Great Things! Durham Technical Community College is hiring a Coordinator for the Career and College Promise Program Admissions & Records in the High School Partnerships Department. The Coordinator for CCP Program Admissions & Records plays a critical role in supporting Career and College Promise (CCP) programming, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, and strengthening relationships with high school partners. This position assists with recruitment, enrollment, and student support activities that advance college access and readiness.

Examples of Duties

- Maintain, update, and manage CCP applicant files and admissions records.
- Input and process admissions applications, K-12 enrollment forms, and student change forms.
- Record and verify standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, Accuplacer, NCDAP).
- Accurately input data from high school transcripts and evaluate placement tests.
- Support pre-registration and registration processes each semester.
- Archive student records using document imaging systems.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and communications as needed.
- Update student records, including emails, majors, terms, and CFNC entries.
- Respond to inquiries from students, prospective students, and parents, providing clear and supportive guidance.
- Represent the College at recruitment and outreach events in schools and the community.
- Participate in NCCCS and College-provided professional development activities.
- Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to strategic planning and evaluation to improve services.
- Model sensitivity to the diverse needs and expectations of high school and community college students.
- Uphold compliance with FERPA and other relevant policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to advance the mission of High School Partnerships and Durham Tech.
