Minimum Qualifications
An associate degree or higher in business administration, office administration, or a related technical field from a regionally accredited institution and three to five years of office or technical support experience, or a combination of education and extensive experience is required. Excellent skills in typing, spreadsheets, web-based informational databases and portals, computer-based software technologies, and familiarity with various office machines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the Google platform is essential, as are effective communication and organizational skills. The candidate must be a self-starter, process-oriented, and possess strong organizational, leadership, administrative support, and communication skills. The position requires initiative, sound judgment, and confidentiality to establish priorities and meet demanding schedules. Preferred Qualifications

Position Description
Perform various administrative duties for the Vice President of Financial & Business Services and other areas reporting to their respective divisions. Creates and reviews documents and correspondence, schedules meetings and appointments, answers the telephone, establishes and maintains appropriate files, and performs other clerical functions. Assists the Human Resource Department and Campus Information in support of the college’s mission, requiring considerable latitude for exercising sound judgment and discretion; exercises critical human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with employees, retirees, students, the college community, and the public. May provide administrative functions for other areas in the Administrative Suite as needed.
