Facilities Maintenance Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in building maintenance trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Familiarity with the safe and proper use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently as well as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of computers and ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• National Career Readiness Certificate.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
