· Associate Degree in Office Systems Technology, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Minimum 3 years’ work experience in finance and budget administration

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
· Risk management experience
· Previous experience in a business office setting
· Previous work at a college or educational facility

Job Description

The Finance & Administrative Services Coordinator is a full-time, non-exempt position located primarily on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe, NC with expected travel between Union and Anson counties as needed.

Key capacities include having strong administrative, organizational, and computer skills, knowledge of business office procedures, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This role also requires the initiative to research and provide quality answers to client questions in a timely manner.

 

Job Duties
· Prepare routine and non-routine funding requests.
· Prepare and submit non-student related Accounts Receivable invoices.
· Work with program side of grants and prepare grant-related financial reports as needed.
· Prepare and submit internal and external construction financial reports.
· Oversee risk management/insurance to include general liability, property, vehicle, student insurances, and other forms of insurance as required.
· Conduct outcome audits and assessments for the Business Office and post to Taskstream.
· Responsible for meeting with the public and scheduling Union County salons and office spaces for rent.
· Coordinate space rentals with catering services as necessary.
· Responsible for researching and ensuring rental rates are appropriate. 
· Other duties as assigned.
