Full-Time Instructor, Anatomy and Physiology
Location: Elizabeth City Campus

College of The Albemarle (COA) invites qualified educators to apply for the position of Full-Time Instructor, Anatomy and Physiology. This full-time, benefits-eligible faculty position delivers classroom, laboratory, and student-centered instruction in Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology. Additionally, the instructor supports student success through academic advising, curriculum development, institutional service, and continuous program improvement.
The primary teaching assignment is at the Elizabeth City Campus and includes Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) and BIO 111/112 – General Biology I and II. However, instructional assignments may include day, evening, weekend, hybrid, online, or off-site courses at any College location based on enrollment and program needs.
This is a 9-month faculty appointment with an annual salary commensurate with education and experience. Faculty follow the academic calendar and receive their annual salary in twelve (12) equal monthly installments. Employment depends on available funding, Board approval, successful completion of the College’s pre-employment process, and continued institutional need.
