Minimum Qualifications
An Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or commensurate experience.
JAMF Certified Technician certification is required and must be obtained within 90 days of employment;
JAMF Certified Technician certification is required and must be obtained within 90 days of employment;
Minimum of two years of experience as a JAMF Administrator or similar role

Position Description
Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a new member to join our Information Technology Services Team and now accepting applications for a full-time JAMF Administrator!
This position is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Apple device ecosystem of the College. This role ensures that these devices are efficiently deployed, configured, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with NCDIT (State), local, and organizational policies. The JAMF Administrator will ensure that our Apple devices are secure, up-to-date, and effectively integrated into the IT infrastructure of the College.

Essential Duties—Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Administer and manage the JAMF Pro environment, including device enrollment, configuration, and management.
- Deploy software, updates, and security patches to MacOS and iOS devices through JAMF.
- Create and maintain documentation for JAMF guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Apple devices and the JAMF environment.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Management team to coordinate automated application patching and integration with other systems and tools.
- Provide technical support and training for end-users on Apple device usage and best practices to support the strategic goals of the College.
- Collaborate with the Asset Management Coordinator to coordinate the procurement of new Apple assets, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and State-wide procurement policies.
- Monitor and analyze device inventory and compliance to ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
- Maintain currency with JAMF updates, features, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
