The Manager, Enterprise Applications provides direction and oversight for the College’s enterprise application services to ensure they operate reliably, securely, and in alignment with institutional priorities. The position manages the team responsible for delivering services centered on the Student Information System SIS/ERP and its adjacent ecosystem, including integrations, reporting, and data platforms. The manager sets service objectives, establishes operating standards, prioritizes work, and monitors performance so that core academic and administrative processes are consistently supported.
The manager guides intake and prioritization of requests from campus units, coordinates cross‑functional analysis to translate business needs into technical work plans, and oversees execution through formal change and release management processes. The position maintains operating roadmaps and service‑level expectations, reviews metrics and dashboards to track availability and throughput, and leads continuous improvement activities to address recurring issues, reduce risk, and improve user experience.
The manager serves as the primary liaison with campus partners including College & Workforce Instruction, Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, Finance, HR, Payroll, Institutional Research, and Student Success to plan process improvements, manage dependencies, and schedule work around critical academic and financial milestones. The role facilitates governance activities for these services, chairs or participates in change advisory reviews, and ensures communication is timely and clear during incidents, maintenance, and upgrades. The manager also oversees vendor relationships and contracts for ERP‑adjacent solutions, ensuring that services and integrations meet institutional requirements for performance, data integrity, and supportability.
The manager ensures access reviews and control attestations are performed for covered systems, partners with Security and Audit on risk remediation, and enforces adherence to applicable regulations (e.g., FERPA, GLBA, PCI DSS, HIPAA). The Manager, Enterprise Applications requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex processes, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and deliver measurable service outcomes across a portfolio of enterprise applications. The role is accountable for outcomes across complex, highly regulated higher-education enterprise systems and requires deep functional and technical experience within that environment.
