Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (computer science, computer information systems, programming or other related field) from an institutionally accredited college/university
Experience Required
- Three years of experience as a Systems Administrator
- Seven years of work experience in IT field
- Three years of experience in administering a virtual environment
- Experienced in leading cloud adoption (at scale), including establishing governance mechanisms, delivering migration projects and modifying target operating model
- Experience in managing large multi-site network topologies using best practices for management of bandwidth and security.

- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, with Azure Administrator Associate preferred

- VMware Certified Professional preferred
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+ preferred
- ITIL 4 Foundation preferred
- Or other current industry certifications not listed above
Experience Preferred
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague ERP system administration strongly preferred
- Experience with Ellucian products, WebAdvisor, Student Self Service, E-Commerce, Colleague Portal, UniData, and Colleague Studio.
- Windows server OS, Mac OS, Linux OS

The IT Systems Manager is responsible for the delivery of college IT systems and related infrastructure and the System Administrators, reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of IT. As a key member of the IT leadership team, this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring systems infrastructure strategy is fully aligned. This position will provide leadership in the visioning, development and implementation of the ITS infrastructure supporting all college IT needs, this includes all on primis and external (i.e. cloud) environments. This position will work closely with the Manager ITS Security to insure that the network infrastructure supports the college needs both immediate and in the future.
