*Looking to fill two positions*

This position is a case manager of all activities listed under the WIOA contract. Must maintain required caseload, complete documentation in a timely manner, and document accurate communication logs and progress notes. This position is responsible for a caseload of applications, which include enrolling, tracking, supportive services, and collecting I9, worksite, training plan, agreement, evaluation, and timesheets, along with following up for one year post-completion as per mandate. Provides information and referral assistance regarding available support from appropriate social service agencies and/or community programs. Identifies participant strengths and barriers to stability and assists participants in reducing barriers and linking to resources and services. Serves as a liaison to the Land of Sky staff in the absence of the Lead Case Manager and Coordinator. This position coordinates the best career paths in either the Curriculum or Con Education programs.

 

Examples of Duties

 

1. Enrolls students who meet WIOA qualifications and coordinates the best career path.
2. Connects students with community resources.
3. Maintains files that comply with the WIOA Guidelines for all enrolled students.
4. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and Rise statement.
5. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

1. Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree;
2. Must have at least three years of full-time or equivalent experience working in a case management role;
3. Must have experience with Microsoft Office, database applications, and data tracking systems.

Perferred: 

1. One year of full-time or equivalent experience working in a workforce development setting.
2. One year of full-time or equivalent community college student services experience.
3. Experience with community service outreach.

Physical Demands 

The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
