Part-Time Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Instructor

Diploma in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (HVACR) or related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution, minimum of three years of related work experience in the HVACR field is required. (Military experience may be counted toward the three years.) 

Associate of Applied Science degree in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (HVACR) or related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution.

Job Summary

Part-time instructors are professional, credentialed educators with the primary responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for credit and non-credit Rockingham Community College (RCC) students. Instructors are responsible for providing learning experiences on the main campus and off-site. Instructors are responsible for but are not limited to planning, organizing, promoting, and teaching Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (HVACR) courses, which may include online and hybrid courses. Instructors are expected to perform all instruction-related duties in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the College, the North Carolina Community College System, and with appropriate accrediting entities where applicable.
HVACR Part-time Instructors report to the Dean of Applied and Industrial Technologies.
