Minimum Qualifications
An associate degree from a regionally accredited institution, or completion within six months of hire, is required. Applicants must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in the use of technology. A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications
One to three years of experience in communications, customer service, or a related field is preferred. Bilingual in English and either Spanish or French Creole is preferred.
Position Description
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for creating and executing Wayne Community College’s (WCC) recruiting strategies; developing projects and events that promote understanding of and support for the College’s programs and services; and establishing effective communication with prospective students to increase enrollment and strengthen support for WCC programs and services.
