Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred)
  • Strong public relation skills
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including being available to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to assist in membership recruitment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background in customer service
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of weight 45 lbs
  • Must be able to complete frequent walk-throughs of the building

Position Description

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION:

The Front Desk Attendant is the center for customer service, fitness & wellness programs and services information. The Front Desk Attendant provides immediate, efficient, and friendly customer service in person or over the phone. This position is also responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of the reception, member lounge, and various other areas. The Front Desk Attendant is essential to the promotion and information sharing of all club programs and services.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Provide excellent customer service to F&A Center members and non-members
  • Respond professionally and accurately to phone and in-person inquires
  • Provide facility tours to prospective members and facility orientation to new members
  • Process various monetary transactions for members, non-members and guests
  • Process and update membership data in MINDBODY© system
  • Assist members with check-in via the MINDBODY© system
  • Perform housekeeping duties at front desk, lobby, and Child Watch areas
  • Serve as Child Watch Attendant by providing safe and fun environment for children
  • Perform additional duties as directed
  • Communicate professionally, promptly, and honestly with colleagues and Center supervision through verbal and electronic communication media
  • Promote and support College and Center goals, activities, and functions
  • Enforce all policies of the College and Center
