Associate in Science with lab experience

Associate in Science with experience in BIO and CHM labs.

Job Duties

Laboratory Duties:

• Set-up and take down general biology labs as assigned.  

• Set-up and take down anatomy/physiology labs as assigned. 

• Assist science faculty in the maintenance and inventory of chemicals. 

• Be responsible for the storage of supplies and equipment in the general biology, chemistry, anatomy/physiology and microbiology labs as needed. 

• Participate in the annual development of the Division Budget Request. 

• Recommend changes to, improvements in, and removal of equipment and supplies. 

• Perform yearly inventory of major equipment. 

• Perform routine maintenance of laboratories and the greenhouse. 

• Provide feedback to the faculty on student usage of the supplies and equipment. 

• Receive new supplies and equipment and check the completeness and accuracy of the received order. 

• Test new equipment to be sure it is working properly. 

• Prepare chemical solutions as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
