Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree and two years of experience managing data and customer interactions; or

Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:    

The WIOA Grant Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing quality assurance services for the WIOA Title I  program. This includes a variety of semi-complex duties associated with file audits, reporting, and data entry of the programs, and follow-up contact and reporting for exited individuals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:                                                                                                                                         

 

  • Develops innovative practices and approaches to performance management, documentation, and follow

    up case management in compliance with local, state, and federal rules.

  • Responsible for documenting and tracking performance goals and driving implementation of best practices

for achieving better results in WIOA programs while ensuring that all performance measures, MSG obtainment, and employment goals are met.

  •   Responsible for developing and maintaining programmatic performance measure expertise, presenting,

    and reporting performance data to internal and external partners.

  • Provides guidance to case management teams and leadership regarding performance related case

    management and programmatic practices.

  • Manages follow-up customer caseload for WIOA grant participants based upon program demand,

    including accurate tracking of activities and services as required local processes and procedures.

  • Ensure program funded participant placements are accurately reflected in NCWorks Online by completing

    performance management checks on files as appropriate.

  • Accurately documents performance and services to customers by entering all relevant services and notes

    into NCWorks Online as required.

  • May occasionally serve as staff within the integrated service delivery  model at the NCWorks Career Center
  •  Other duties as assigned
