The College and Career Readiness Unit will provide regional trainings in response to the Red Flag Monitoring Report and the new NRS measures. The target audience is for adult literacy instructors, volunteers, and instructional coordinators/directors who train their instructional staff. The main points of the training are listed below:

 Topics will include:

·         What instructors need to know about performance

·         Explanations of Participant/Reportable Individuals, Entry/Exit, POPs

·         Strategies to retain students (since retention impacts data)

·         Tools for evaluating class data

·         Strategies for motivating students

·         Time for networking to share successful instructional strategies and areas that need improvement
