This Training is for current Community College and CBO's Directors.

Synopsis of training:  The complex changes in the WIOA bill and the resulting regulations will take some time to interpret and operationalize in your program.  Our strategy for this get together is to address a few of the individual WIOA components to a) be clear on what each means and b) examine options for operationalizing each in your program.  The three components for this discussion are 1) WIOA Partners’ Roles and Responsibilities, 2) IET & IELCE and 3) Monitoring Key Program Components for Performance.

Bio. of presenter: Dr. Lennox McLendon has over 40 years’ experience in adult education as a teacher (ABE, ESL, ASE), local director, state staff member, graduate school faculty and state director of adult education.  For the past fifteen years, he has managed two national associations for adult education state directors in Washington and in those roles worked with Congress and the Administration on federal legislation including WIOA.
