Piedmont Community College. Those three words have meant so much to me these past two years. They have meant the beginning of my college career, a home of teachers and staff who encourage and guide me face-to-face, and a place where I have learned countless things about not only scholarly education, but also about what is important in life as well.

PCC has been the perfect place for me to start my college career because it is financially affordable, has the same classes that universities require, and is close to home. I enjoy being able to talk to my teachers easily and have a close relationship with them. Many of the teachers and staff have helped me greatly in deciding what I want to do in the future. The classes challenge me, but they do not overwhelm me.

My main reason for my success in college is simple—God. In His Word, it says to do everything to the best of our ability, and that is what I strive to do. I want to be able to do whatever God has called me to do to the best of my ability for others and for Him.
