Being a high school senior at Duplin Early College High School, while taking college courses at James Sprunt Community College has not been easy. It has taken plenty of hard work and dedication. I have learned that reaching my goals in life will not be easy, but it will be worth it in the end. My struggles have taught me that I am capable of doing what I set my mind to. In the month of May, I will be graduating with my high school diploma and Associate of Arts degree. I was able to accomplish that in four years instead of the 5 years it normally takes. I plan on attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall.
