There were several reasons I decided to go back to school. As a mother of four children, I wanted to set a good example for my children so they would understand the value of education. I wanted to achieve something I had waited twenty years to do. I wanted to establish some sort of career that would be more substantial than one I might be able to find without an education.
Apart from its proximity to where I live, the people at Montgomery Community College were absolutely helpful to me. They helped me with financial aid and career guidance; they helped me determine which subjects to take. I am now on my way to finishing my Associate in Arts degree and I am also taking a phlebotomy course. I am very thankful to the staff of this college. They have set me on the road to achieve my goals and dreams and I intend to go as far as I can go. The sky is the limit!
