In my early thirties, I found myself to be a single mother with a failed career. The financial hardships were overwhelming but, more importantly, my self confidence was shaken, and I questioned my ability to succeed. The opportunities that CVCC have given me to get back on my feet and pursue a Respiratory Therapy career that I am passionate about have been life changing.

When I first began the process of returning to college, I never imagined that I would be motivated or successful enough to move beyond an associate’s degree, but I am now working on transferring to a four year school. My CVCC education has helped me regain the self confidence that I lost and then some!
