I obtained my GED through Sandhills Community College in 2007. In 2010 I enrolled at Sandhills as a student in their Surveying Technology Program. Prior to this, I had never anticipated going to college, but after enrolling I found that I enjoyed taking classes and the general atmosphere of the college experience. I would later change my major at Sandhills to their Pre-Engineering Program.

I am currently in my last semester at Sandhills, and I will be transferring to NC State in the fall to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to find a job and gain the necessary experience to become a Professional Engineer. While working I will continue my schooling with the hopes of obtaining a Master’s Degree in both Applied Mathematics and Business Administration. My dream job is to work in robotics as a programmer dealing primarily with artificial intelligence. Utilizing the education I have received from electrical engineering, particularly in the area of electronics, I aim to become an innovator in my field and in the workplace.
