Learning is an essential part of life. According to the Digest of Education Statistics at ed.gov, approximately 7.3 million people attended a two-year college in 2014. I am one of those people. I began pursuing my Associate in Applied Science Degree in Architectural Technology in August 2013. My time at Coastal Carolina Community College has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Coastal Carolina Community College is a two-year college providing higher education to students in an environment conducive to learning. It has been a pleasure meeting and getting to know the faculty and staff of Coastal. They have provided me with support and guidance, as well as the essential instruction needed to acheive my goals. meeting other students has also been an enjoyable experience. People of all different ages and from many different backgrounds attend Coastal, making for a diverse group of students.
Upon graduation from Coastal Carolina Community College, my plans include assisting my church congretagion wit the design and construction of a new sanctuary. This is a project we have been working toward for many years. With the knowledge and training I have received at Coastal, this dream will become a reality. I also plan to use my degree to acheive gainful employment as an architectural designer/drafter. In doing so, I hope to improve our community by putting knowledge into practice.
