During my senior year of high school, I had such a strong desire to be accepted into a University that would help me succeed in the path of entering the medical field as an Orthopedic Surgeon. I worked hard and graduated with high honors, but I did not end up going to the school I originally had in mind. Think about it; does life always go the way you plan?

The truth is I am pleased that I am attending Wake Technical Community College. It has been a challenging and rewarding experience for me. They not only offer a wide range of classes, but the teachers actually helped me realize what I was capable of. Upon entering Wake Tech, I was blessed to be accepted into the honors program. As required, I volunteered and conducted a project every semester.  I also had the privilege of giving presentations of what I learned in front of the president and deans of Wake Technical Community College. Attending this college has been a wonderful journey and an enlightening experience. I am proud to say that I am continuing on the path of fulfilling my dreams.
